An orchestra is a large instrumental ensemble typical of classical music, which mixes instruments from different families, including bowed string instruments such as violin, viola, cello and double bass, as well as brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments, each grouped in sections.
Successful operation of any orchestra depends not only on well-coordinated work of all musicians, on a clear management of the conductor, but also on a well-structured work of a sound engineer with all members of the orchestra. The larger the orchestra is, the more difficult is to control and to set the sound before the orchestra performance.
The workshop will show you how to structure your work with the orchestra, how to set the sound of each musical instrument for the organic sound of the whole team.
The event will be held in Black Box Theatre (pavilion 4.1, booth B1) on Saturday (September 15) at 11 am. The Black Box Theatre is a specially built space for the exhibition equipped with all the necessary audio, video and lighting equipment for demonstration and workshops.
Dmitry Sychev, sound engineer, teacher, member of the international community of sound engineers "Audio Engineering Society" will work with the NeoSymphony Orchestra by Arsen Baderkhan.
